DVLA Digital Signage System
DVLA needed a way to communicate with their customers while they waited to be served in their local offices. The system needed to be visually impactful whilst easy to update and create content. It also needed to be updated quickly by local office users as well as by head office, contain text, image and video content.
Works Digital created DVTV Live: a digital content distribution system covering DVLA Local Operations Directorate’s UK network of 39 offices. Content is distributed via 40 inch LCD screens located in Local Office reception areas. Offering the ability to communicate directly with their customers, this system allows the DVLA to self create, manage and distribute local, relevant and engaging multi-media content – text, images, flash and video content.
The system had a great result in all offices managing waiting time expectations whilst also being informative. A great success.
