Challenge
Oracle were about to implement their largest software upgrade. IBM Optim wanted to use the opportunity to raise awareness, interest and understanding of how they, and their services, could help with this.
IBM had decided to create a number of whitepapers and host an online webinar to help address some of the potential issues and opportunities that such an upgrade could pose to clients. Works MC were asked to create an online campaign that would drive downloads of the whitepapers, and more importantly, recruit prospects for the webinar.
Response
We created a series of compelling emails, supported by a micro site, where prospects could register for the webinar and download the whitepapers. The micro site and emails were all connected through a powerful backend data system where we could track email and web activity and co-ordinate appropriate email responses based on the prospects actions. All activity being very call to action orientated.
Result
This campaign target was exceeded by 210%
Now that this campaign is nearing completion I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for what has, thus far been a fairly painless process (for me) and congratulate you on a job well done.
